Cella Monte, from latin “cellam ad montem”, is a municipality with 527 inhabitants, once belonging to the Ivrea and Monferrato marquises and to the Vercelli bishops.

Historical and religious buildings are the castle, Palazzo Radicati, Chiesa S. Quirico and Oratorio S. Antonio.
